WOW... they could have been twins except for the age difference LOL. About the crying I have two suggestions that might or might not work (every baby is different) *The first is a pedestal rocking cradle right by your bed with a housecoat belt tied onto one of the rungs. I had one for our little fussy one. I learned to pull that belt in my sleep and as long as the cradle was in motion the baby slept. I woke up one night and my hubby had reached over me and was pulling the belt to keep her sleeping. She had us really well trained. *My second idea is something I wish I had owned because I think it might have worked. Check out this web site:http://www.pregnancystore.com/zaky.htm Jackie
Totally twins I swear! Ahh yes. I'm sorry I didn't write more on the previous post but I totally hear you on the lack of sleep topic. ALl of my friends kept telling me how their babies would sleep for so many hours at night. Or by 7-8 weeks they were sleeping through the night. Here I was and Brynn was 12 weeks and the longest stretches we were getting were still 3 hours at most. I was beginning to get a little more exhausted of things both figuratively and physically, LOL! Then BAM! This past weekend she started sleeping for 5-6 hours at night. Yes...hang in there. It will improve even if some babies take longer than others ((Hugs)) And he is gorgeous!
The first few times that worked well with putting down a sleeping baby and having her or him stay sleeping was for me to have Brynn sleep in her boppy next to me on the couch and me curl my legs around her. Not something the makers of Boppy recommend. But I was desperate. Then I started putting her in her basinett and kept placing her pacifier in her mouth over and over again as she cried until she stopped. After a couple of weeks it finally works. But she still is a kid that wakes up when I move her from my arms to somewhere else to sleep I hate to admit. Just know you're not alone and I feel you pain. ((Hugs))
WOW, that is amazing!!! Very cool! :)
ReplyDeleteI love to see those pictures side by side...we have some baby pictures of me and they look just like Hailey!
